Taotao lives in tropical rain forests and evergreen broad-leaved forests in southern China. He used to have family living in the vast mountainous areas of China from Shandong Peninsula to the south, mainly in Hunan, Guangdong, Jiangxi, and Fujian provinces. He loves hunting and eating wild boar, hog deer, muntjac and grey langur and smaller prey, porcupine, hares and peafowl. He sleeps after a kill and feed in cool places against a rock, on grass, or with a vantage point to see his prey.
Taotao, our south China tiger, is a full-bodied hand puppet. He’s carefully hand-crafted using soft velour fabric and stuffed like a soft toy, allowing you to hold him with comfort and ease. Your hand goes from inside from his stomach.
He’s designed and handmade in the shape and colours of a south China tiger in the wild. Your baby and child will bond with Taotao their hand puppet. You won’t be able to separate them. Your baby and child will love, respect and gain empathy for tigers, becoming passionate about preserving wildlife and their environment. We spent time meticulously creating Taotao to resemble a tiger in the wild.
We use beautiful soft gold-brown with black stripes velour on his back, head, face, arms, and legs. His chin, stomach, inside his ears, around his eyes and lower part of his snout are made using white velour. His nose is made of pink fabric, and he has white fluffy fabric on his cheek and in front of his ears. The back of his ears are black. His engaging, beautiful cat rustic eyes are inside raised eyelids, making you want to hug him. Our Taotao is smiling, lovable and cuddly. Match him with a book, puzzle or sheepskin toy for an even more perfect gift.

Benefits of Puppets
Research with early education specialists has highlighted and proven that puppets, as an educational toy for a child’s growing and developing mind have many benefits. Puppets are used as a teacher’s or parent’s aid.
Your children will listen to their animal puppet. When you speak through an animal puppet, your child will respond positively. The puppet will ask your child to brush their teeth or do their homework. You’ll find that your child will complete these tasks, because it’s the puppet asking and not you.
Animal puppets will work fine and gross motor skill dexterity, and hand-eye coordination. Children need to put their hand inside their puppet to manipulate the puppet’s arms, face, and mouth.
