Ulu is made from premium quality soft velour fabric. He has short curly black hair, dark brown skin, embroidered black eyebrows. He has carefully embroidered beautiful round dark brown engaging eyes that look at you with love and kindness. His fingers, toes, ears, nose and navel are very cute. He is made with excellent detail and is stuffed to look more like a soft toy, fabric stuffed doll, character or person. His stuffing and design makes it easier for you to hold him and to manipulate him as a puppet. You will fall in love with Ulu from the moment you pick him up and play with him.

An average size adult hand and fingers fit comfortably from the back of his body into his head, mouth and arms. His mouth opens and he has a tongue. His head, body, arms and legs are stuffed to allow easy handling for play and to make the puppet more like a stuffed soft toy. Bring Ulu to life when you put your hand inside him and move his head, mouth and arms.

He is dressed like a Zulu Warrior and ready to do ceremonial dance and singing with you. The detail and quality of his clothes will impress your teacher, family and friends. You can take all his clothes off to change his outfit.

  • red ibheshu which is an apron like skirt made from a soft velvet type fabric to look like calf-skin, and attached to shorts. The ibheshu has a black and white v-shaped piece of fabric attached at the waist and hangs at the front. A red and gold thread chiffon sash is sewn from the waist of the ibheshu across the shoulder and down the back.
