Amelia, our snow leopard, lives high in alpine areas in the Himalayas. Her family and friends can be found around China, Bhutan, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Russia, and Mongolia. She loves to eat blue sheep, Argali wild sheep, ibex, marmots, pikas, deer and other small mammals. She curls her thick long tail around her body and sleeps tucked against a cliff, or rocky outcrops, or ravines. During the day, she hangs out in panoramic spots with sweeping views over the valley to find and catch her prey.
