Lola, our Iberian lynx, lives in the Mediterranean woodland and maquis thicket. She favours a combination of dense scrub for shelter and open pasture for hunting rabbits. She loves wild rabbit, and will eat ducks, young deer and partridges if she can't find any rabbits. In summer, she sleeps at night. In winter, she'll sleep at night.

Lola is a flat Iberian lynx soft toy baby comforter is carefully hand-crafted using 100% premium dense soft and luxurious Australian sheepskin or lambskin fleece—fur (wool fibre) and leather (skin). She’s natural with therapeutic properties that promote wellbeing. Sheepskin is a by-product, using environmentally safe dyes.

Lola is designed and handmade in the shape and colours of an Iberian lynx in the wild. Your baby and child will bond with Lola their sheepskin comforter. You won’t be able to separate them.

Your baby and child will love, respect and gain empathy for Iberian lynxes, becoming passionate about preserving wildlife and their environment. We spent time meticulously creating Lola to resemble an Iberian lynx in the wild. Her tan body has been overprinted with black rosettes. These rosettes are a mark of lynxes and appear on her back, face, parts of her arms, legs and snout. Her stomach and the front of her ears are white. She has long white fur tuffs around her cheeks. Her ears have long black fur tuffs and define the lynx. Some scientists believe the lynx uses their long hairs to detect things above their head when they’re moving around at night. She has long black fur on the end of her short tail. Lola has beautiful, engaging green eyes and a black Iberian Lynx nose.

Our Lola is smiling, lovable, and cuddly. Match her with a book or puppet for an even more perfect gift.

Promotes Well Being

Your baby will become attached to their sheepskin toy comforter because it’s a natural fibre with excellent therapeutic properties.

  • Sheepskin is a natural fibre that breathes, insulates, and regulates body temperature by either releasing moisture from your body to cool it down, or trapping air particles when you’re cold to warm you. Sheepskin acts like a natural thermostat, regulating your body’s temperature.
  • Sheepskin fleece against your body will activate your blood circulation and promote your immune system, supporting you to relax and regenerate.
  • A baby’s skin is delicate, developing, and learning to regulate their body temperature, making sheepskin and wool fibre perfect against their body.

When your baby sleeps with our flat sheepskin toy, they will settle faster and sleep for longer, hence nourishing their body and helping them to grow and develop. This leads to a happier, more balanced baby with a healthy appetite.

Sheepskin promotes well-being.

Benefits of Fleece Fibres

During the tanning process, the fine, soft wool-fibre is fixed to the leather in the sheepskin. This fusing of fur and leather ensures that all the benefits are maintained in the wool-fur fibre, keeping the sheepskin in its most beneficial state.

  • Sheepskin contains lanolin, a substance found in human skin, which helps to heal sensitive, or inflamed skin, or rashes.
  • Sheepskin fleece is hypoallergenic and is excellent with skin allergies.
  • Sheepskin contains excellent tactile responses and therapeutic properties.
  • Research has shown that babies who have sheepskin fleece against their skin are less likely to suffer from asthma as they get older.
