Jorgia, our beautiful harp seal pup, was born on pack ice floating in the North Atlantic and Arctic Ocean. Her mother smelt her special scent and found her. She loves eating small fish, mostly capelin, and arctic and polar cod.
Jorgia is a full body hand puppet made using premium quality soft velour fabric. When you put your hand inside her, you will bring her to life by manipulating her front appendages and mouth. Use your hand to make her speak, she has lots of stories she’d like to share with you about living in the Arctic.
She’s designed and handmade in the shape and colours of a harp seal pup in the wild. Your baby and child will bond with Jorgia their hand puppet. You won’t be able to separate them.

Benefits of Puppets
Research with early education specialists has highlighted and proven that puppets, as an educational toy for a child’s growing and developing mind have many benefits. Puppets are used as a teacher’s or parent’s aid.
Your children will listen to their animal puppet. When you speak through an animal puppet, your child will respond positively. The puppet will ask your child to brush their teeth or do their homework. You’ll find that your child will complete these tasks, because it’s the puppet asking and not you.
Animal puppets will work fine and gross motor skill dexterity, and hand-eye coordination. Children need to put their hand inside their puppet to manipulate the puppet’s arms, face, and mouth.
